d began his career as an Administration Officer with the Royal Bank of Canada. He moved into personal sales, joining a leading Canadian Life Insurer. He also launched a unique Canadian mutual fund company, being responsible for the recruiting, training and sales management portion of the business. He is well known as a dynamic and effective communicator, genuine in his care for people and his belief in the potential of each individual.
As an Executive Director for the Salvation Army, Doug was responsible for overseeing 4 locations and over 50 staff, including a federal halfway house, emergency shelters, street outreach, supportive housing a subsidized restaurant, and chaplaincy. During this time, his human resource skills, team development, program development, and managerial skills were key to his effectiveness. As Corporate Relations for Union Gospel Mission, Doug was able to double the donations in the areas of Corporations and Foundations and increase corporate involvement. Strategic analysis, organizational development and honed communication skills allow Doug to effectively assist in growing organizations.
Carol J. Sutton Cert.ConRes. received a Bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in public relations from Boston University, College of Communications in 1972 and has provided service for a variety of national and international companies. In 1982 she earned accreditation (APR) by the Canadian Public Relations Society; in 2004 she was admitted to the CPRS College of Fellows. Carol holds two certificates in Conflict Resolution from Justice Institute of BC. As a partner in Maximum Impact Training and Development, she shares her knowledge and skills with clients who desire to develop their human and organizational capabilities through leadership, management, team-building and interpersonal initiatives.

She has worked throughout the United Kingdom and Europe, accelerating growth and making learning “stick” for employees in a variety of industries. Now residing in Vancouver, Hazel helps people achieve their goals with professionally proven strategies.
